It's that moment after the birth, after celebrating with my co-creators, my friends and my brother... after Sake Codfish and Cherry Blossom cocktails. We are getting such great feedback... exactly the kind of feedback I love to hear: "Your piece was so moving... I had tears in my eyes".
This is what I live for... to give myself onstage and to feast in the work of other wonderful artists... and my absolute favorite is when those artists happen to be my friends.
Can't wait to post the pictures that Tet took. They are unbelievably beautiful. We were so blessed to have Alberto who is an incredible lighting artist. Matt and Katarina saved the day. And the space... whew, it is THE Merce Cunningham Space...
